In 2018, I was retained by the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) and the American Society of International Law (ASIL) to create a web app that promulgated guidelines and standards of international arbitration law.

icca-asil

Wiki for international arbitration

I created a React app that uses a CMS API to manage content, and a component library for a polished user interface.

Utilizes CMS API for friendly content-editing

The legal content presented in this application was created and maintained by ICCA-ASIL lawyers.

I designed the application to enable the lawyers to freely add, edit, and delete content using a friendly non-tech interface, much like editing a blog. To achieve this, the app integrates a headless CMS REST API tool called CosmicJS. The other benefit? There’s no back end to maintain; all the data is in the cloud CMS.

Professional design using Grommet

To meet and exceed the design expectations of the professional legal set, I used Grommet, a state-of-the-art React-based framework and design system for enterprise applications.

Grommet is great! After I chose Grommet for this project, Uber and Netflix started using it. I would definitely use it again.

This app is still under development. To explore a test version, click here.
